Aims:
To develop skills for recording what they see, imagine and feel.
To help them be selective in their choice and application of materials to suit the task.
To develop control, confidence and understanding in using different materials and techniques.
To look at how colour, shape and texture can be used to express and communicate ideas.
To help them respond to ideas and methods in the work of other artists and describe them, using simple terms.
.Method:
• Skills will include: drawing, painting, printing, weaving, collage and 3D work studying the elements of line, colour, colour mixing, patterns, texture, shape and form.
• We will look at the work of Monet, Chagell, Mondrian, and Miro, and other artists for inspiration and ideas.
